FAQ
You compared this to Caymus. Is it really as good?
We think so. Especially after decanting for an hour or so. But let's be clear - this is not a Caymus clone.
You will be missing some of the sugar and oak. That's a fact. But Forget Napa Cab has the same explosive fruit, and a minerality that Caymus can only dream of. It also actually has tannins.
If you want something FULL-BODIED, check out our Hundred Dollar Cab.
How am I supposed to buy a wine I've never tried before?
Well, we offer a Money-Back Guarantee on your first bottle of each of our wines you try. Show me another winery that does that... I'll wait.
Why can't you tell me who the winemakers are?
We always give our winemakers the opportunity to be highlighted, but sometimes they're scared you might stop buying their wines to buy ours instead.
These guys have over 100 wines that scored over 90, and are some of the best winemakers in Sonoma.
What makes Bruno different from other wine shops?
We’re scrappy, independent, and fiercely quality-focused. No boring bottles. No bloated markups. Just small-batch wines we actually drink, packed by a team that hustles hard to make sure you get a damn good experience.
When will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. We're a small team and we pack each bottle with care (because they're glass and deserve respect). Around busy drops, it may take a bit longer, but we always work overtime to get your wine to you fast.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll get an email with a tracking link. You can also check your order status anytime by logging into your Bruno account.

technicalities
This is a Right Bank Bordeaux-style Blend with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. It was sourced from vineyards in Sonoma County and Valley, known for producing reds with rich fruit flavors and balanced tannins in a more old-world style of winemaking than Napa.
30% new French oak smooths out the wine without turning it into an oak bomb.
The palate is bold but balanced—structured tannins wrapped in dark fruit, with supporting roles from Merlot and Syrah bringing roundness, spice, and mid-palate depth. Malbec adds a whisper of dark florals. Texturally rich without being heavy. The volcanic soils show up in that long, mineral-tinted finish—dry, savory, and built to evolve.
This is a wine with architecture—firm acid, integrated oak, and the kind of tannins that say “cellar me, coward.”
I met the guy who made this wine at my favorite wine shop in Miami, FL. The owner of the shop called me and said “Dan is here, you should come and beg him to make wine for you,” and I did exactly that. Dan (which may or may not be his real name) and his crew are very passionate about three things: organic farming, regenerative winemaking, and blending. And they don't use these terms as crutches to make average wine sound better - they have over a hundred 90+ scores from Wine Spectator & other major critics. This wine is especially important because this past year was so difficult for small California wineries. I love that we were able to come in and help some guys keep their operations going. The fruit in this bottle was grown on rocky volcanic soils and is almost impossible to get during normal times - and makes wine that will only get better the older it gets.
Fresh and delightful! We had this at a bay side BBQ surrounded by friends and this bottle made everything better. It’s crisp and refreshing, I will be ordering again!

This trio of wines is a must-have for dinner parties. We enjoyed learning about the origin story while tasting throughout the night. The bubbly chardonnay was a group favorite. Looking forward to ordering again!

Amazing QPR, drinks like a $100
