On prices, progress, and why we’re still doing this by hand
When we started Bruno, it wasn’t a business plan. It was a belief. That a small team could bring better wine to more people without compromising on quality or honesty. We packed every box ourselves, labeled each bottle by hand, and learned the hard way what it means to build something small in a world of giants.
We’ve grown since then, but not much has changed where it counts. We still hand-label. We still touch every order. And we still believe good wine shouldn’t cost a fortune or come wrapped in marketing fluff.
Lately, we’ve made a few changes that we wanted to share with you directly.
Prices went down. We tried including shipping in our pricing, thinking it would simplify things. It didn’t. You told us you preferred transparency, and you were right. So we rolled it back. Prices are lower again, with $20 flat-rate shipping on orders under $200. No inflated tags, no confusing math — just fair wine at fair prices.
Shipping also got faster. We know delays hurt the experience, and some of you waited too long for wines you were excited about. So now, if you order by noon, it ships the next business day. For preorders, we’ll tell you exactly when to expect it. We’re still a small team, but we’re committed to getting your bottles to you faster and better.
We feel every success and every stumble personally. That’s the beauty — and the burden — of staying small. But every photo, message, and note you send reminds us why we started in the first place.
So thank you — for believing in us, for sticking around, and for giving us the chance to keep doing what we love.
As a small thank-you, use code HOLIDAYS for $20 off any order over $200 (even gift cards).
We’ll keep fighting for what matters: small producers, honest bottles, and great wine without the noise.
Drink Different. Or Die Bored.
Cheers,
Bruno G.
