A note from the founder

You don’t need another wine brand.
You’ve got grocery shelves full of “award-winning” bottles and restaurant lists priced like rent.

But here’s what no one really says out loud:
The wine industry is basically a cartel.

A few distributors decide what shows up on shelves. Brokers, importers, and other middlemen all take a cut. Ratings can be bought. Stories get polished. And the actual winemakers—the ones sweating in the vineyard—don’t see a fraction of the money or the credit.

And the big brands? They’re in on it.

Why would a distributor who sells millions of cases of Meiomi, Elouan, Belle Glos, Conundrum, or Caymus (yes, all from the same wine group at one point) risk rocking the boat by championing a better bottle from a small producer?

That’s why we started Bruno.

To build something different. Something honest.
We partner directly with world-class winemakers. When they’re ready, we name names. No gatekeeping. No middlemen.

And when you buy from us? It’s not like buying “direct” from a legacy brand.
They still have retail partners to keep happy. They can’t give you a better deal than Total Wine.

We don’t have that problem.
That 30% margin a distributor would take?
We pass it back to you.

If you’ve ever bought a bottle from us, you’re already in the resistance.
If you’ve told a friend? You’re part of the movement.

And we’re just getting started.

New wines are coming. Wines that push even harder on quality, value, and transparency—like our next Alexander Valley Cab. I blind-tasted it today against Silver Oak and Stag’s Leap. They weren't even close to ours.

No fluff. No velvet rope. Just brutally good wine, made the right way, for the right reasons.

Thanks for being early. You’re the reason this works.

Drink Different. Or Die Bored.

Cheers,
Bruno
