2024 Willamette Valley Field Blend
Better Than Sauvy B
Part of our “Better Than“ series, where we source incredible wines from lesser known grapes that overdeliver - by a lot.
Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and a few secret extras — all playing nicer together than any American Sauvignon Blanc ever could. It’s juicier, softer, and actually tastes like something grown, not engineered.
Think pear, lime zest, and a whisper of flowers — bright without the cat pee aromas that Sauvy B offers. Drink this when you want something bright but not basic — perfect for seafood, salads, or pretending it’s still summer.

Meet the winemaker
I met Luke during my first trip to Oregon, back when we didn’t even have a single bottle to our name.
It was 40 degrees out, and he rolled up on a bicycle in shorts with samples of Syrah stuffed in his backpack.
That’s Luke — the mad scientist behind Lares Wines, and one of those people who makes you realize winemaking is half art, half obsession.
When we told him we were sick of Sauvignon Blanc but also felt like we didn't want to get into Pinot Gris, he didn’t even flinch.
A few weeks later, he came back with this — a wild, beautiful blend of Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris, and whatever else the Willamette felt like giving that year.
All organic, all from small vineyards he maintains a personal relationship with. What came out of it isn’t a copy of anything — it’s Oregon doing its own thing.
Aromatic but not perfumy.
Bright but not screechy.
A little floral, a little tropical, and way too easy to drink.Drink this when you’re arguing with a guy who drives a 2003 Saab about why Riesling isn’t a personality trait — and you’re right, but he’s too hydrated to admit it.
What others think.

FAQ
Here are some of the most common questions we get from our customers.
Reach out to us at hey@bruno.wine if you didn't find an answer
What makes Bruno different from other wine shops?
We’re scrappy, independent, and fiercely quality-focused. No boring bottles. No bloated markups. Just small-batch wines we actually drink, packed by a team that hustles hard to make sure you get a damn good experience.
When will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. We're a small team and we pack each bottle with care (because they're glass and deserve respect). Around busy drops, it may take a bit longer, but we always work overtime to get your wine to you fast.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll get an email with a tracking link. You can also check your order status anytime by logging into your Bruno account.
Can I change my shipping address after placing the order?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, yes. If it has, we can't reroute packages once they’re in UPS’s hands. Reach out ASAP and we’ll do our best.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Because we sell alcohol, we legally can't accept returns. But if something went wrong with your order, we have a Money-Back Guarantee that covers one bottle. Just reach out and we'll make it right.
