Meet the winemaker

Carnival Wine Co. isn’t your typical Sonoma sparkling house. It’s a tiny, husband-and-wife operation built on obsession, stubbornness, and the belief that California deserves bubbles made the real way — Méthode Traditionnelle, long tirage time, no shortcuts, no apologies.

They work out of Healdsburg, hand-crafting small lots of sparkling and still wines that lean more Old World than New. Everything is touched by human hands:

the pressing, the blending, the riddling, the ageing — every detail is deliberates

Their philosophy is simple:

If it’s not good enough to pour for your favourite people, it’s not good enough to bottle.

That approach is why this rosé Extra Brut tastes like it does — elegant, focused, alive — and why we knew immediately it belonged in the Hundred Dollar series.

Small producer.
Serious technique.
California heart.
Champagne discipline.

Tastes like

Pomegranate flirting with lemon zest—bright, sharp, and a little reckless, like the moment a quiet night decides to misbehave. Golden apple and blood orange crash the party, turning every sip into a dare wrapped in bubbles. It's the kind of sparkle that winks first, kisses hard, and disappears before you remember to ask its name.

Drink this with
  • Texting someone you absolutely shouldn’t.
  • The toast that turns into a confession.
  • The bad decisions you're already making in your head
the perfect wine for
  • a candlelit dinner where the conversation is 90% eye contact
  • A solo lunch that costs more than your first car.
  • Posing in your friend’s yacht
  • Gallery parties where snobs praise art that sucks
  • Realizing your 'progressive' friend actually hates poor people.
technicalities

This sparkling rosé was crafted by a husband-and-wife winemaking team in Sonoma County dedicated to producing méthode traditionnelle wines at the highest standard. It is made from select Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards throughout the North Coast, an area known for its cool marine influence and long growing season—ideal conditions for premium sparkling wine.

The base wine was fermented separately by varietal, blended, and then bottled for secondary fermentation. It spent 18 months en tirage, allowing the lees to develop texture, fine bubbles, and complexity comparable to traditional Champagne.

This Extra Brut Rosé offers aromas of pomegranate, lemon zest, and golden apple. On the palate, bright acidity supports flavors of lemon-lime, blood orange, and crisp orchard fruit, finishing dry, refined, and refreshingly mineral. The extended tirage aging provides finesse and structure, making it a versatile choice for celebrations or thoughtful pairings.

FAQ

Here are some of the most common questions we get from our customers.
Reach out to us at hey@bruno.wine if you didn't find an answer

What makes Bruno different from other wine shops?

We’re scrappy, independent, and fiercely quality-focused. No boring bottles. No bloated markups. Just small-batch wines we actually drink, packed by a team that hustles hard to make sure you get a damn good experience.

When will my order ship?

Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. We're a small team and we pack each bottle with care (because they're glass and deserve respect). Around busy drops, it may take a bit longer, but we always work overtime to get your wine to you fast.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you’ll get an email with a tracking link. You can also check your order status anytime by logging into your Bruno account.

Can I change my shipping address after placing the order?

If your order hasn't shipped yet, yes. If it has, we can't reroute packages once they’re in UPS’s hands. Reach out ASAP and we’ll do our best.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Because we sell alcohol, we legally can't accept returns. But if something went wrong with your order, we have a Money-Back Guarantee that covers one bottle. Just reach out and we'll make it right.
